Verdun Flowers saved my daughter’s wedding. The original florist I hired for my daughter’s big day backed out a week before her big day and I was devastated. I was frantically searching for a florist but couldn’t find anyone who could do such a big job last minute. I was at my wit’s end, when I stumbled upon one of their cards and thought what do I have to lose. I paid them a visit, and upon entry I was warmly greeted by George. I told him my story and he said that even though they normally don’t do rushed jobs like this he could see that I was in need of help and that they would accommodate me. Not only did they save my baby girl’s wedding, but the floral arrangements were absolutely gorgeous! They went above and beyond what I could’ve ever dreamed of. I’m forever indebted to the wonderful people at Verdun, and I will be telling all of my friends, family, and coworkers about them.

My mother absolutely loves flowers, so for mothers day I wanted to do something special for her. I remembered growing up there was a picture hanging over our fireplace with my mother and her father picking flowers from the garden back home in Jamaica. I knew nothing about flowers, and I didn’t want to ruin the surprise by asking my mom what the flowers in the picture were, so on faith I took the picture to Verdun Flowers and with one look they were able to tell me the type of flower that was in the picture. They also made the most beautiful bouquet of flowers I had ever seen. My mom absolutely loved her flowers, and I’ll never forget the smile on her face when I gave them to her. Thank you Verdun!

I was planning on proposing to my then girlfriend on Valentine's Day, and since I love big over the top displays I was thinking of ways to go above and beyond to make this moment memorable. Out of pure curiosity I went into Verdun Flowers just to get ideas and was greeted by Sabrina. We engaged in a friendly conversation and I told her what I was thinking about and she was even more excited about the idea than I was! She sat me down and not only told me what floral arrangements would be perfect for the occasion, but she also gave me locations on where to propose, friendly advice, and walked me through the whole process. I followed her advice and needless to say the moment was even better than what I had originally hoped for. The people at Verdun are extremely professional, but when you’re working with them it feels like you’re working with friends. They will be apart of our family forever. We get married in the summer and I already know who we’ll be going to for the flowers.
